Got #1 Males on July 4th they were meaty & very good! Got large shrimp w the garlic butter it's excellent! Clean, organized, friendly & not a long wait!
Clean, fast service, delicious, family-owned. When summer rolls around I frequent this place for their blue crabs and shrimp. They will steam fresh for you with seafood salt. You can choose the heat level.

This is the best fresh seafood market on Southside RVA period! I've been going to Bay Seafood for over 15 years and they have never disappointed me. The store is extremely clean and they have the best variety of fresh seafood! I absolutely love and recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional service amazing seafood both fresh and cooked!!

Visited for the first time, yesterday evening. Got a variety of snow crab legs, stone crabs and shrimp that they steamed for us as well as herring roe for a birthday dinner celebration. Service was polite, friendly and fast! I would highly recommend and will be back. Thanks
I visited because my cousin lives 30 min and drives all the way over there for fish. I don't frequent the fresh seafood market and I see why (they so high) but I was satisfied with the quality. I purchased my breading from there and I fried my fish in airfryer and it was awesome...I ordered the lake trout and flounder filet . I Willis recommend and visit again
